Updated Accommodations for CGDC 2025

7/9/2025 UPDATE:  ALL DISCOUNTED HOTEL ROOM BLOCKS HAVE BEEN SOLD OUT!!  WE ARE UNABLE TO ASSIST YOU IN FINDING A HOTEL NOW AS MOST AREA HOTELS HAVE FILLED UP.  YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO FIND A HOTEL ROOM FURTHER AWAY FROM THE DEVOS PLACE BUT YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE SURE YOU FIND TRANSPORTATION FROM YOUR HOTEL TO DEVOS PLACE! THE INFORAMTION BELOW IS FOR ATTENDEES WHO PREVIOUSLY USED OUR DISCOUNTED HOTEL ROOM BLOCKS FOR HISTORICAL INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY!

Room Sharing

Attendees wishing to coordinate sharing rooms (and travel) with others should use our CGDC Coms server on Discord. Click on the button below and look for the #lfg_roommate-search and #travel-to-conf channel under CONFERENCE COMMUNICATION channel.

The eight story, 175 room hotel provides free parking and wifi. It also has a indoor pool and gym

Attendees can book a room with 2 Queen beds (to share) for $149/night not including the 20% service charge ($30) or the 6% local tax ($9) for a daily total of $188/night. Total cost for 3 nights is $564, for 4 nights is $752 (divide those costs by the number of occupants, if sharing)

Hyatt Place Grand Rapids/Downtown Hotel (SOLD OUT)

CGDC has also coordinated with Realm Makers to offer a discounted block of rooms at the Hyatt Place Grand Rapids/Downtown Hotel, nearby Devos Place (a 4 minute / 0.1 mile walk down Lyons St NW and Ottawa Avenue NW).

The twelve story, 160 room hotel provides parking at $5/hour (or $38/day), free wireless internet access at the hotel (e.g. guest rooms, public areas), and pool / fitness facilities.

Attendees can book a room with either a King Bed or 2 Queen Beds (to share) for $189/night not including the 18% service charge/local taxes ($34.⁰²) for a daily total of $223.⁰²/night. Total cost for 3 nights is $669.⁰⁶, for 4 nights is $892.⁰⁸ (divide those costs by the number of occupants, if sharing).

The group rate is valid three days before and after the Conference, based on hotel availability.

For those that decide not to utilize the Hyatt Place Grand Rapids/Downtown, there are a number of nearby options (AirBnB, other hotels), but bear in mind that you will be missing out on more fellowship opportunities.
