Upgraded Accommodations for CGDC 2025

Traditionally, the conference has been held at a University, enabling us to offer low cost dorms. This year we are upgrading our venue to a larger more professional setting. Unfortunately, nearby dorms are not a possibility (we looked). That said, as part of our commitment to affordability, CGDC has booked a discounted block of rooms at the Holiday Inn Grand Rapids Downtown, nearby Devos Place (a 9 minute / 0.4 mile walk over the bridge / across the Grand River).

Attendees can book a room with 2 Queen beds (to share) for $149/night not including the 20% service charge ($30) or the 6% local tax ($9) for a daily total of $188/night. Total cost for 3 nights is $564, for 4 nights is $752 (divide those costs by the number of occupants, if sharing).

For those that decide not to utilize the Holiday Inn, there are a number of nearby options (AirBnB, other hotels), but bear in mind that you will be missing out on more fellowship opportunities.
